Props pt. 2.
Herr Strandgaard has finally finished his sewing machine. And since it is so beautiful done (and also due to the fact that it will be in the background in the apartment, and probably out of focus) I will post some detailed photos of it here for YOU to enjoy.

1st human eyes test!
Thus Johan has been working on some pictures to test the actors' eyes.
The first two pictures are of Samek (the boy) with my little brothers, Hjalte's eyes.
The last picture is of Yetta (the mother) with Ene's eyes. The heads are from the maquettes, and when cast the will offcourse have hair and look even more neat!

Greetings from the swampy realms of the Wiredfly Headquarters! Things are still progressing with the pace of a wee bit tired but yet agile moose!

Misc.1
A li'l friday update from WF.HQ:
Today we got CRAZY amounts of oilbased clay with the mail. Two big boxes indeed! We also got a scale that Hanna is using, as I write, to measure stuff for the mold.
We have talked with the actress Ene, who played the mother in the pace video we did to test the pace and the rythm in the movements and the editing. She was very interested in letting us use her eyes for the puppets. I don't know if this has been mentioned on this blog yet - but we will composit real human eyes on the puppets. This will offcourse look awesome!!! So now we are making tests to see if Ene's eyes will "fit" the puppet. More on this as it developes.

(Johan and an armaturemaker named John Wright have mailed weird drawings back and forth concerning the armatures. Above here is one of the pictures. The armatures isn't finished yet - but O the glory when they are!).

Financial support!
We have got great news indeed:
New Danish Screen will support the production of "Four Minutes..."!!!
This is offcourse a giant leap on the path of making this film.
We want to thank our consultant on NDS, Jakob Høgel for his kind words and for the possibility to finish this film... ...the neat way!!! Also thanks to the NDS crew; Nikoline Riget & Nanna Mailand.
And here, under this text there is a picture of Jakob Høgel taken from the Danish Film Institutes homepage.

Greetings potential readers of this blog!
Yesterday, glorious Wednesday - Hanna Habermann started in WF.HQ. Johan and I have been busy making as much as possible ready for her coming!

Also we got visited by Herr Strandgaard (his name is actually also Johan, so we needed to figure something out to avoid the chaos and confusion). Herr Strandgaard will be helping out building the props. Welcome aboard!

New crew members.
We are proud to welcome Hanna Habermann to the team. She will start in one week - helping us out building the puppets and we will feast on her knowledge like parasitic leeches.

(A girl who is not new on the team - but she is finally cought on film: Christina Martiny Moltke. She is doing the Behind-the-scenes on "Four Minutes"... Here she is sitting sorting the vast amounts of clips she's recorded).
Props pt. 1
Hereby a little update:
Things are progressing with the pace of horny lion! We are building props, sets 'n making maquettes. It almost makes one ILL to think of all the little things that needs love and care to be buildt - and then it's just some tiny background thing, ALAS - so be it!
(This is the empty and broken food trolley, that will be in the backyard. It's made by Sarah).
(An unfinished lightpole that will be on the sidewalks on the other side of the wall - notice the birdshit that's painted on it! Another prop by Sarah).
(Emil's wooden bucket for the backyard. It is carved in the famous balsa tree - which Katrine and Johan worked their royal arses off to find... BUT NOW IT IS OURS!!!).
(Emil's sheds. The one on the left is an outdoor toilet, and the one on the right is a firewood shed. (and in front of them the bucket!) The sheds are painted black for now - but when the backyard is finished we'll paint it a color that fits).
